What I found and improved:
Problem 1: The “settings” button in the profile was too small to be a touch target, and the function of it was actually to edit the profile rather than go into app settings
Solution 1: An enlarged pen-and-paper "edit" button was used instead as a clear CTA for editing content on the current (profile) page.
Problem 2: The informational text on the profile was too small, had a typeface that was difficult to read, and there was just too much to read.
Solution 2: Excessive text was distilled into key information that can be read quickly, in larger and more readable type.
Problem 3: The purposes of the items in the navigation were unclear, and is hard to reach.
Solution 3: Top navigation was moved to the bottom for ease of use when device is handled by one hand, and icons were labelled for a less confusing experience
Overall: Colour, typefaces, and UI was transformed into a more refreshing, game-like atmosphere while enhancing clarity and readability
